DES MOINES — Mini masterpieces took the stage in the Doll Houses and Miniature Rooms competition judged prior to the start of the 2016 Iowa State Fair.
In the Dollhouse less than 1 inch scale category in the Doll House division, Jim Carter, of Newton, took second place; and Amber Wagner, of Prairie City, received third.
Sandra Crabtree, of Des Moines, won Best of Show in the Doll House division, and Beth Grabau, of Adel, grabbed Best of Show in the Miniature Rooms or Scenes division.
