Kari and Carlos Hernandez, of Pleasant Hill, announce the birth of their daughter, Ivy Elizabeth Hernandez, born on June 26, 2016 at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 21 inches long. Ivy joins brother Oliver, 2, at home.
Grandparents are Maura Lara of Ames and Dan and Sally Vasquez of Newton.
