Local students graduate from University of Iowa spring 2016

IOWA CITY — Graduates from the University of Iowa at the close of the spring 2016 semester.

Tyler Burt, of Newton, received a BFA-art; Kevin Cook, of Newton, received a BA-English; Mindi Dodd, of Newton, received a BS-radiation sciences; Kyle Doerring, of Newton, received a BSE-mechanical engineering; Megan Gonzalez, of Newton, received a MA-speech pathology and audiology; Janell Karsten, of Newton, received a MBA-MBA executive program; Kelly Murphy, of Newton, received a BA-elementary education; Bradley Rabedeaux, of Newton, received a BA-enterprise leadership; Brian Rose, of Newton, received a BBA-business analytics and information systems; Cole Kinzel, of Baxter, received a BA-interdepartmental studies; Caitlyn Hagarty, of Colfax, received a BSE-industrial engineering; Mitchell Larson, of Colfax, received a BA-enterprise leadership; Matthew Noftsger, of Colfax, received a BA-political science; Samuel Munson, of Monroe, received a BBA-management; Hallie Von Bank, of Monroe, received a BA-English and BBA-management; Lauren Peters, of Prairie City, received a BA-communication studies with highest distinction; BA-journalism and mass communication with highest distinction.
