CEDAR RAPIDS — Mount Mercy University recognized its recent graduates this May. A commencement ceremony was held May 22 at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids.
Claire Funke, of Newton, received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Abby Van Wyk, of Sully, graduated with her Bachelor of Science in nursing and graduated Cum Laude.
Funke also received recognition for outstanding achievement in Kappa Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
