MAT athletes score High Point awards at state

MAT Tumbling and Trampoline recently attended the State Championships in Boone and had six athletes honored with the highest award for the state meet.

The award is recognition of athletes that have the highest score, not only in their age group, but their entire level. It is called the High Point Award and there are only 17 awarded at the State Championships, one for each level of each event.

MAT took home six of those awards. These athletes out-scored everyone in their entire level, regardless of age. Congratulations to the following athletes on reaching this achievement. Emma Bair, High Point winner Novice Double Mini Trampoline and Intermediate Power Tumbling; Steph Slaven, High Point winner Advanced Power Tumbling; Kyah Siegert, High Point winner Sub-Advanced Double Mini Trampoline; Madison Kremer-Awes, High Point winner Beginner Double Mini Trampoline and Sub-Advanced Power Tumbling.
