It was 9:20 p.m. Tuesday evening when all of the precinct results were in to the Jasper County Auditor’s Office and released to the media and public. Historically, it was extremely rare to have any single precinct result within that 20-minute period.
This “phenomenon” was accomplished by new technology, have well-trained staff and poll-workers. All had to be highly diligent in doing an outstanding job to result in Jasper County being the first county in the entire state to report the complete results.
