Discovery Hike planned at Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge

Join volunteer naturalists at 10 a.m. Saturday for a Nature Discovery Walk along the half mile, paved Overlook Trail loop.

Attendees will learn about wildlife, wildflowers and management of the refuge. See the prairie in bloom, watch for birds and butterflies and find out about our bison and elk herds.
This hike is recommended for adults and children ages 12 and older accompanied by their favorite adult. This activity is free and open to the public.
