DENMARK — A southeast Iowa man has died after jumping from a moving car.
Drake Knotts, 32 of Wever, was a passenger in the car Saturday morning when he started arguing with the driver.
Lee County Sheriff’s officials say the car was traveling on Iowa Highway 16, near Denmark, when Knotts unfastened his seat belt and jumped from the moving vehicle. The driver, 32-year-old Matthew Farris, stopped the vehicle, turned around and began to perform CPR on Knotts.
