Former supervisor gets probation, restitution

ALLISON — A former Butler County supervisor convicted of theft in a plea deal has been given probation and ordered to pay back nearly $1,900. Mark Reiher was given a deferred judgment Wednesday and a year of probation. Under a deferred judgment, Reiher’s conviction will be removed from his record if he completes probation. Reiher was defeated for re-election in 2014. Authorities allege Reiher collected mileage for meetings he didn’t attend.
