The League of Women Voters and the Newton Daily News are hosting a candidate forum Thursday that will be televised.
Thursday’s forum, set to take place in Newton City Hall’s council chambers, will be broadcast live on Mediacom Government Access Channels 85 or digital 121.12.
The forums is being held in advance of the June 7 primary elections. The Jasper County Board of Supervisors forum is set for 6:45 p.m. and the Iowa House candidate forum is set for about 8 p.m. Catherine Fouts will moderate the forum.
