Jasper County Conservation Board will host an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors program at 9:30 a.m. June 8 at the Ashton Observatory at Ashton Wildwood Park, 8755 W. 122nd St. N., seven miles west of Baxter off Highway F-17.
Members of the Des Moines Astronomical Society will give a tour of the observatory, demonstrate the telescopes and show what the group is watching in the night sky.
