Gary M. Wickliff, born Jan. 26, 1943, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at his home in Reasnor. A private service will be held at a later date.
His passion in life was hunting and collecting Native American artifacts. He loved to travel especially to Washington and Arkansas. Gary traveled all over the southeast United States tracing the Wickliff family tree. Gary had many memories of his friends and family. He was avid about putting flowers at the cemetery for family and friends. If Gary didn’t get mad at you once in his were not his friend.
Those left to mourn his memory are his nephews, Mark Seals of Reasnor, and Jason Wickliff of Ash Fork, Ariz.; nieces, Julie Seals and Ellen Wickliff Iske of Safford, Ariz.; and sister-in-law, Pattie Wickliff of Thatcher, Ariz.; three great-nieces; and one great-nephew; and two great-great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Wickliff; mother, Margaret Ebert Wickliff; sister, Sharon Seals; and brother, Dennis Wickliff. Absolutely no memorials. Donations will be accepted in his name for Newton Animal Rescue League.
