Bruce A. Schroder

Bruce A. Schroder II, 35, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Newton, died Friday, May 6, 2016, in Lincoln. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will greet friends following the service with a coffee time at the funeral home. Memorials in Bruce’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Bruce, the son of Bruce A. and Mary A. (Czerwiec) Schroder, was born Dec. 27, 1980, in Fort Collins, Colo. He graduated from Newton High School in 1999, and later received his welding degree from DMACC. On Aug. 3, 2013, Bruce was united in marriage to Kristina M. Larison in Newton. They moved to Lincoln last year where Bruce worked at Kawasaki as a laser technician. He enjoyed taking his dogs to the dog park, comic books, video games, tattoos and listening to music while enjoying a beer.

Those left to honor Bruce’s memory are his wife, Kristina of Lincoln; mother, Mary Schroder of Newton; siblings, Veronica (Patrick) White of Newton, Melissa Schroder (Shawn Lane) of Newton, and Ray Schroder of Newton, currently attending Northwestern College in Orange City; his nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins; and his fur babies, Gizmo and Honey. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Bruce A. Schroder in 2015; and his loving dog, Jazelle.
