TAMA — A man convicted of helping his mother stab his wife to death in Tama has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Dustin Jefferson, 40, was sentenced Thursday. He had been found guilty in February of aiding and abetting first-degree murder in the death of 32-year-old Kerry O’Clair Jefferson.
Prosecutors said that Jefferson helped his mother, Ginger Jefferson, kill his wife in September 2013.
