Iowa Speedway announced hit-making country music duo LoCash, known for their No. 1 single “I Love This Life,” will be the second act in the NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series this summer. LoCash will replace Eric Paslay who has been invited to be a part of the Toby Keith Tour this summer and will not be able to perform at Iowa Speedway on July 9.
“We are so fortunate to be able to have LoCash perform here on July 9,” said Iowa Speedway President Jimmy Small. “They are a powerhouse country act that I’m certain our fans will enjoy during an already action-packed weekend of four races, culminating in the INDYCAR Series Iowa Corn 300 on July 10. That weekend we’ll all have plenty of reasons to love this life!”
LoCash recently performed both their latest single, “I Know Somebody,” as well as their breakout smash, “I Love This Life,” when they made their late night TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on March 23. The group combines country, soul, rock, funk, pop, hip-hop and gospel in a high-energy version of contemporary country music and is signed to Nashville’s Reviver Records. The duo’s passionate and entertaining stage performances are perfect for live events and have won LoCash fan adulation and industry attention.
Brust and Lucas will keep fans cheering following the conclusion of the ARCA Racing Series 150 presented by Casey’s General Stores on July 9. The duo will hit the Pork Party Pavilion, overlooking Turn 4, after the checkered flag is waved. The INDYCAR Series will speed things up the following day with the 10th running of the Iowa Corn 300, as INDYCAR’s stars solidify Iowa Speedway’s claim as the “Fastest Short Track on the Planet.”
The NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series kicks off on June 18, when party-rock act Buckcherry, takes center stage. The Los Angeles-based group will perform following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 200 Saturday night prior to the only NASCAR XFINITY Series race scheduled on a Sunday in 2016.
Snake Oil, a rock tribute band, will close out the NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series on July 29. Following the NASCAR K&N Pro Series Casey’s General Stores 150, fans can sing their hearts out to classic songs made famous by some of the biggest names in music.
Each installment of the NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series will take place at the Pork Party Pavilion, following the conclusion of the first race of each race weekend. Season, Weekend and Individual Event tickets are on sale now.
