AMES — Morgan Iske, of Newton, has been elected secretary of the Iowa State University Chapter of the Club Managers Association of America. In this role, Iske, a junior studying event management, will serve on the chapter’s executive board.
The Club Managers Association of America is a pre-professional hospitality club that is focused on the advancement of the club management profession. The club’s mission is to enrich students’ experiences by offering educational sessions with guest lectures from area club managers, club tours, fine dining events, seminars and resume-enhancement activities.
The club’s members also organize and participate in fund-raising events and community enrichment and awareness projects and raise funds to attend an annual national conference.
