MONROE — The Prairie City-Monroe girls soccer team was shut out for the sixth time this season as Grinnell defeated the Mustangs 4-0 on Monday night.
PCM trailed 2-0 at halftime. The loss drops the Mustangs to 3-7 on the season. It was the third straight loss and all three have been by shut out.
Grinnell has won two straight and is now 3-2 on the year.
The Mustangs attempt to get back on track at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when they host Des Moines Christian.
