• Newton Says No to Human Trafficking committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCann Center in Newton. Anyone interested in attending is welcome.

• Chapter HS of PEO will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCann Center in Newton. Combined Chapter Event. Chapter HS will meet at 5:30 followed by the dinner and program.

• Newton Downtown Volunteer Clean-Up Day will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the downtown district in Newton. Inclement weather date will be April 21.

Menu includes buttermilk pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and beverage. Cost will be $5 and $3 for children 12 and under. Proceeds will benefit the Newton Lions Club projects.
