I proudly support Wes Breckenridge for State Representative in House District 29. I have known Wes Breckenridge for more than 20 years.
Over the years, I have worked closely with Wes in his many roles at the Newton Police Department. These roles include patrol officer, drug task force officer, school resource officer, DARE instructor and now as a lieutenant. Wes has been very dedicated to public safety, service to the community and his family. Wes has worked tirelessly to make Newton and Jasper County a better place to live and work. He has treated everyone with respect and has had a deep concern for those who cannot protect themselves.
Wes has shown his dedication to the citizens of Jasper County in several ways. He has taken every opportunity to become the best public servant he can be by bettering himself through education and training, including attending the FBI academy. He also serves as an educator at DMACC, where he educates young people about criminal justice. Wes is a member of local groups like Noon Kiwanis and Newton Says No to Human Trafficking, a local social action network.
Wes is honest and hard working. He takes the time to learn about the issues facing our county and state. Wes will work hard for his future constituents. Please join me on June 7 in voting for Wes Breckenridge for the Democratic nominee for Iowa House District 29.
