Nolte, Cornman & Johnson, P.C. Certified Public Accountants released an audit report on the Newton Municipal Waterworks in Newton.
Nolte, Cornman & Johnson, P.C. reported that the Waterworks revenues totaled $3,489,838 for the year ended June 30, 2015, a 27.44 percent increase from the the prior year, primarily due to the increase in federal grant revenues.
Expenditures from the Waterworks totaled $2,663,407 for the year ended June 30, 2015, a 3.76 percent decrease from the prior year, primarily due to decreased maintenance expenses.
