NHS Pacesetters winter show is Saturday

The Newton High School Pacesetters are having their annual Winter Show at 7 p.m. Saturday at Newton High School in the gymnasium.

The Pacesetters will perform their state competition kick, pom and jazz routines as well as other dances performed throughout the year. Special performances will highlight the State Solo Competitors. The show will also spotlight the Junior Pacesetters, the infamous Dancing Dads, the NHS Co-Ed Dance Team and special guests the Berg Middle School dance team, Central College, Grinnell High School and inMotion Dance Company.

The Junior Pacesetter Clinic will be held at 9 a.m. at the middle school (back door by big gym). Those wanting to participate may register Saturday morning at the clinic. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $20, which includes the clinic, a snack and a T-shirt.

Tickets for the show can be purchased in the morning at the middle school or at the door beginning at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students, children under the age of 5 are free.

The show is under the direction of coach Paige Meredith.
