• Jessica L. Audas, 28, of Des Moines, is charged with two counts of possession of controlled substance, three counts of unlawful possession of prescription drug, interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers were called at 3:21 p.m. Friday to 801 S. Eighth Ave. W. Officers found Audas, who refused to get out of her car and threatened to punch the officer. When she did exit the vehicle she refused to turn around and had to be forced into handcuffs. Upon being taken into custody, officers searched her vehicle and found marijuana, methamphetamine, a pipe and spoon and two different prescription drugs bottles that were not for Audas, with several types of pills in them. Later at Skiff Medical Center, she refused to cooperate and had to be held down by several nurses.
