Newton Police Department

• Christy J. Clark, 29, of Newton, was arrested on a Jasper County warrant after authorities were called at 6:24 p.m. on Friday to 904 E. 12th St. N. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Doris K. Hardie, 48, of Newton, was arrested on an Arkansas warrant for parole violation after authorities were called at 3:20 p.m. on Friday to 410 W. 4 1/2 St. S. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Tammy R. Davis, 36, of Newton, was arrested on a Jasper County warrant at 10:59 p.m. Friday to 1003 N. Third Ave. E. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Jonas R. Henderson, 38, of Newton, is charged with four counts of violation of no contact/protective order after authorities were called at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday to 718 E. Fourth St. N. Officers were called about Henderson trying to break into a residence and spoke with the victim who said she received a missed call from Henderson, and then spoke with him. He said he wanted to tell her happy birthday. He then asked to come back, and she told him to leave her alone. Henderson then went to the residence where he asked to take her out to eat, then spoke with the victim’s family on the phone and left. He came back again asking to go in, and the victim called the police. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Randy C. Mikesell, 35, of Newton, is charged with simple misdemeanor trespass after authorities were called at 12:59 p.m. Thursday to 418 S. Second Ave. E. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Christopher S. Soto, 24, of Bronx, is charged with identity theft under $1,000, interference with official acts and possession of license or ID card forms after authorities were called at 2:30 p.m. Thursday to 1126 First Ave. E. Officers were called about a man attempting to add a cell phone to an account he was not on at Verizon. Officers found Soto, and he had a driver’s license of a person other than himself. The victim said he did not know Soto and Soto did not have permission to add anything to the account. Soto threw the ID in the trash can at China King after attempting to purchase the phone. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
