• Fall street and sidewalk clean up will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday in downtown Newton. Volunteers from SSMIDD, Newton Main Street, Get to Know Newton and Newton Chamber members will help with the cleanup. Meet at the chamber office with gloves, push brooms, etc.

• Turkey Supper will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Monroe United Methodist Church. Meal includes turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, coleslaw, cranberries, pie and drink.
