Wesley Dean Robson

Oct. 23, 2015

Wesley Dean Robson was born June 22, 1972 in Des Moines to Bill and RuthAnn Robson. He joined a brother Keith at home. He died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 in Glasgow, Mont.
He joined the Air Force right out of high school and served from 1990 to 1998, as crew chief on a refueling tanker. He served numerous tours of duty including Alaska and Hawaii, and overseas in Saudi Arabia, Korea, Japan, Azores and Kuwait.

Wes married Cathi Hanrahan (SHS ‘91) in 1993, and they had two beautiful and amazing kids, Walker Dale and Cortni Mae.

After leaving the Air Force, the family moved to Scobey, and Wes went to work on Hanrahan Farms with his in-laws. He was constantly planning how bigger, more efficient equipment could be utilized. He was excited by the prospect of using new technology in the daily operations and was officially in charge of the SeedHawk. Wes remained a key part of the farm and the family after he and Cathi divorced.

His friends and family enjoyed his quirky sense of humor, which he passed on to his children.

Wes was active in his church and lived his faith. His strong moral character was very evident to anyone who spent time with him. He was generous with his time and talents, whether it was helping a neighbor with home improvements or investing in the youth through the Boy Scouts program. He enjoyed fishing, farming, snowmobiling and hunting and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He was also involved in the Color Guard and the volunteer fire department.

Wes is survived by his parents, Bill and RuthAnn Robson of Linden; his children Walker of MSU Bozeman and Cortni of Scobey; brother Keith (Lori) Robson of Linden; grandmother Coleen Robson of Colfax; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews along with his special Montana family.
