• Women’s Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at 219 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton.

• The members of Zeta chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will meet at 5:45 p.m. Monday at the Centre for Arts and Artists. The group will have the opportunity to tour the Centre and decorate clay forms under the direction of members Margaret Caldwell and Chris Noel. The fee for the fun-filled project is $5. Annual dues will be collected.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 223 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• Newton Golden K Kiwanis will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Newton Village for social time, coffee and a program. Anyone interested in the program or learning more about Golden K Kiwanis is welcome to come as a guest. For more information contact Rev. Thomas Lloyd at 641-792-3612.

• Loebsack representative Bri Dennison will host open office hours at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Uncle Nancy’s Coffeehouse & Eatery, 114 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton.

• Free Cones for Organ Donors will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dairy Queen in Newton. Two free regular ice cream cones will be given to anyone who shows their driver’s license with an “organ donor” designation.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at noon and 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Newton.

• Newton Rotary Club will meet at noon Tuesday at DMACC Newton Campus upstairs banquet room. The program will be presented by Sen. Chaz Allen. Anyone interested in attending and learning more about the Newton Rotary Club is welcome. • Chapter AO of PEO will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Mary Manatt in Newton. Refreshments will be served first, with business meeting and program to follow.

• Bible Study for women will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hephzibah House, 721 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• American Heart Association CPR & First Aid class will begin at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at DMACC, 600 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton. This training covers CPR and First Aid in the same class. • Jasper County Human Service Providers will meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Salvation Army in Newton. Katie Brown from Employee & Family Resources will be discussing its Prescription Monitoring Program.

• 12 Women of the Bible women’s study will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Hephzibah House in Newton.

• Newton Noon Kiwanis will meet at noon Wednesday at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Newton for lunch and a program titled " District Convention" by Bob Lane and Jim Daniels also the installation of officers. • Jasper County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Strategies Meeting will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jasper County Community Center, 2401 First Ave. E. in Newton. Jasper County Emergency Management Agency is currently in the process of updating the 2011 Jasper County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The meeting will run until 3 p.m. Public input is extremely important to the process of writing plan. The public is invited to attend.
