Children on board as Marshalltown man drove intoxicated

A Marshalltown man is charged with four counts of child endangerment after authorities pulled him over while he was intoxicated Sept. 26. Juan R. Bonilla Barron, 40, is also charged with operating while under the influence and no valid drivers license.

Officers stopped Barron and he was identified in an incident that occurred a few minutes prior. He refused all tests and admitted to being intoxicated several times. He had four children ages 10, nine, seven and one in the vehicle with him at the time.

He was taken to the Jasper County Jail when he was released on bond.
