DAVENPORT — A Davenport man has pleaded not guilty in the overdose death of a woman earlier this year.
The Quad-City Times reports 28-year-old Kiel Kiwala pleaded not guilty to distribution of heroin resulting in death and distribution of heroin Wednesday. Authorities say Kiwala was arrested May 1 in connection to the death of 36-year-old Tammy Balzer.
Kiwala’s trial is set to begin Jan. 25.
