• Newton Fall Fest will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday on the courthouse square in Newton. This free, community event will highlight the final farmers’ market of 2015 along with many vendor booths, kid’s activities, giveaways, music and more.

• Hy-Vee Freezer Meal Workshop will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Newton Hy-Vee Club Room. Contact Emily at ering@hy-vee.com or 641-792-7030 for more information.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 223 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• 12 Women of the Bible women’s study will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Hephzibah House, 721 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at noon Wednesday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Newton.

• Newton Noon Kiwanis will meet at noon Wednesday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Newton for lunch and a program titled “Gralnek-Dunitz Co.” by Roger Zabel. • Overcoming Emotions that Destroy will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hephzibah House, 721 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• Traveling “BUS-eum” will be in Newton Wednesday. A retrofitted school bus, loaded with historical exhibits, has been traveling throughout the state. The exhibit will be at DMACC from 1 to 4 p.m. and at the Jasper County Historical Museum from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. It’s free to all, and coffee, cookies and lemonade will be available during the early evening discussion.

• Culver’s Cruise Night will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Culver’s in Newton.

• Alcoholics Anonymous Beginner’s Support Group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Newton.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Masonic Temple in Prairie City.
