Larry C. Lust, 69, of Newton, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at his home. His wishes were to be cremated, no services are scheduled and a private family interment will be held.
Larry would have liked to thank all of Newton and all of the people he was blessed with knowing for making his life so very special. Larry was always happy to let everyone know he was not going to have a funeral because nobody invited him, and he didn’t want to go anyway.
He is with the Lord in Heaven with his parents, Charles H. “Chuck” and Leona M. (Hopkins) Lust; sister, Mary Ann Hoelscher Thompson; and all the others that got to go before him. Larry always said no need for tears and that he was looking forward to joining everyone in heaven (probably at Burger King). He is survived by his two sons, Kerry (Marie) Lust of Plainfield, Ill., and Lance Scott Lust of Kellogg.
