JOHNSTON — Murphy USA, in conjunction with the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA), today announced it will offer E15 to 2001 and newer vehicles for a 75-cent discount to 87-octane E10 at its Newton location from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
“E15 is already the lowest-cost fuel option available for the vast majority of vehicles on the road today, and, thanks to Murphy USA, Newton-area motorists can save even more on this cleaner-burning fuel option,” IRFA Managing Director Lucy Norton said. “One of the best aspects of E15 is you don’t need a flex-fuel vehicle to take advantage of this more homegrown, environmentally-friendly fuel option — you just need be a part of the more than 80 percent of motorists on the road today that drive a 2001 or newer vehicle.”
Murphy USA is located at 200 Iowa Speedway Dr. in Newton, Iowa. As part of its E15 consumer education program, IRFA will have ethanol experts on-hand to talk with motorists and answer any E15 questions.
