The All-State Barn Tour features more than 80 restored barns that have received Iowa Barn Foundation matching grants, along with barns whose owners have restored their barns using their own money and received an Award of Distinction.
The tour will be from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Hanson Barn in Mingo, will be featured in the central Iowa section of the tour.
During these free tours, tour maps are available at each barn, and at many, 4-H members sell lemonade and cookies. Other barns have special displays and presentations.

The free tour is arranged so you can go from barn to barn on your own, as time and distances permit. The barns on tour are typical of Iowa barns that have served farmers well.
