Jasper County Treasurer Doug Bishop reminds residents the first half property tax and mobile home taxes are due and need to be paid on or before Sept. 30.
Payments can be made at the office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. Credit card and E-check payments can also be made online at www.iowatreasurers.org. Payments mailed and postmarked before Sept. 30 will be accepted without penalty. There is also a drop box for afterhours payments located on the west side of the courthouse.
