Newton Pacesetters now selling Pink Out shirts for Oct. 2 game

The Newton High School Pacesetters are now selling Pink Out shirts to help raise money for breast cancer awareness. All proceeds will be donated to Above & Beyond Cancer.

The third Annual Pink Out night is set for the varsity home football game on Oct. 2 against Ballard. Pacesetters are asking all Cardinal fans to purchase a Pink Out shirt or wear pink that night to show school pride, unity and support.

T-shirts are available in pink and black short sleeve for $10, long sleeve for $15, and hooded sweatshirt for $25, black only. These are available in youth and adult sizes. The deadline to order shirts is Sept. 18.

Shirts can be purchased at home football games, at all of the schools or by contacting a NHS Pacesetter or Coach Paige. Order forms can be found in the main office at each school or online at www.newtonpacesetters.weebly.com

Above & Beyond Cancer is a local charity founded by Des Moines Oncologist Dr. Richard Deming. More information about Above & Beyond Cancer can be found at aboveandbeyondcancer.org
