Newton resident wins home weatherization prize

Tammy Mortensen of Newton, was the winner of a $500 home weatherization at the Hometown Rewards Block Party last May. She and her husband Dan decided to replace two doors, which will help to lessen air leaks. When asked about the difference it made for her entry way, “It stays much cooler in here,” she said.
