America Loud and Proud — Monroe’s Old Settlers celebration brings red, white and blues

Old Settlers will began Friday evening with the children’s parade, dance performances by Prairie City-Monroe cheerleaders, Jazz Creations and Steppin' Out Dance Studio, water fights and night volleyball. Brian Congdon and The Cropdusters was the live entertainment for the night.

A tractor show and a car show were featured Saturday morning, as well as, volleyball, basketball and bag toss tournaments. Saturday also featured The Blue Band and the annual parade.
