The Jasper County Genealogical Society is now open in a new location in the courthouse annex building, 115 N. Second Ave. E. on the first floor. The hours are from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and from 9 to noon the first and third Saturdays. Location is just inside the back entrance.
The library includes family histories, census, births, deaths, marriages and obituaries a much more.
