• Women’s Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at 219 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton.

• Build Your Own Bar Make-and-Take Class will begin at 6 p.m. Monday at Newton Hy-Vee Club Room, 1501 First Ave. E. in Newton. Learn about key ingredients in nutrition and protein bars during this make-and-take class. Registered Dietitian Emily Ring will lead the class. • Congressmen Dave Lobesack’s representative, Amelia Schoeneman, will host office hours at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Uncle Nancy’s Coffeehouse & Eatery, 114 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton, to work with individuals who are having difficulty with a government agency, have suggestions for Loebsack, or would just like to share their concerns.
