Faith series coming to St. Stephen’s this fall

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will host a series of “Just Faith: A program that will change the way you look at The World” programs Wednesday evenings in the fall at the church, 223 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

The program is for individuals looking to encounter their faith in a way that touches, changes and encourages them to live as a Christian in today’s world.

The 24-week process focuses on engagement in the life of Jesus and the call to love and serve others. Through the exploration of Christian social principles, and in community with fellow participants, participants will share a spiritual journey of faith and compassion that is life-giving. Justice issues to be explored include human trafficking, racism, world hunger, global poverty, environmental concerns and more.

If interested in attending Just Faith, contact the Rev. Karen Crawford at vosskar@aol.com or 641-792-6971.
