• Jesse Allen Stewart will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at Greencastle Tavern in Mingo.

• Live Music will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Rock Creek State Park, 5627 Rock Creek E. St. in Kellogg. Featured band will be Sully Jazz Band, located next to the boat dock and concession stand. Freewill offering for the band. It’s open to the public.

• Classic Movie Night will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Van Wijk Winery in Sully. Join Van Wijk Winery in viewing classic movies paired with wine.

• Iowa Speedway NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Iowa Speedway, 3333 Rusty Wallace Drive in Newton.

• Finger Eleven concert will begin Friday after the race at Iowa Speedway. The NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series will take place about one hour after the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.

• Heart of Worship 5K will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday in Lynnville. Proceeds will go to the Salvation Army Food Pantry that serves all of Jasper County. Online registration is available at bit.ly/1MIAs0V. For more information contact Heather James at coachhjames@gmail.com.

• Expanded Steam School will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Jasper County Museum in Newton. Free coffee and coffeecake will be served. The main museum will be open for tours that morning.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 223 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• Congressman Dave Loebsack’s Coffee with Your Congressman tour will meet at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Uncle Nancy’s Coffeehouse & Eatery, 114 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton. The event is open to the public.

• Peer Support for those living with mental illness will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday at Optimae Life Services, 1730 First Ave. E. in Newton.

• USAC Silver Crown Series will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Iowa Speedway in Newton.

• Monthly Blue Grass Music Jam Session and Potluck will meet at noon Saturday at Jasper County Senior Citizens Center, 702 E. Third St. S. in Newton. All music fans are invited.

• Jasper County Round Up will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at Jasper County Fairgrounds in Colfax. Kick off event for the Jasper County Fair in July. Free to all, events include the Barnyard Babies contest at 4:30 p.m., arts and crafts booths from 4 to 9 p.m. and the crowning of the Jasper County Fair Queen at 7 p.m.

• Free Sharing Supper will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday at Kellogg United Methodist Church, 417 Second St. in Kellogg. The free meal will be served in the fellowship hall and all are invited.

• Double Barrell in Concert will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday at Jasper County Fairgrounds, 359 N, Walnut St. in Colfax.

• Farewell to Andreas Juul Exchange Student from Denmark will begin at 8 p.m. Sunday at Colfax Community Pool.
