Postseason baseball assignments for Class 2A and Class 1A were announced Wednesday by the Iowa High School Athletic Association.
Prairie City-Monroe is in Class 2A District 11 with Albia, Central Decatur, Davis County, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and Pella Christian. Collins-Maxwell/Baxter was assigned to Class 2A District 14 with Madrid, North Polk, Ogden, Woodward Academy and Woodard-Granger.
Lynnville-Sully and Colfax-Mingo are in Class 1A District 11 along with Belle Plaine, BGM, Colo-NESCO, HLV, Iowa Valley, Montezuma and North Mahaska.
District pairings will be released June 29.
Substate assignments for Class 4A will be released Monday with pairings set to be released July 6.
