• Jody R. Chesshire, 42, of Newton, is charged with driving while license suspended after authorities pulled her over on East 21st Street South at 6 p.m. May 22. She was cited and released to appear.
• Donniann M. Southern, 44, of Newton, is charged with driving while license suspended after authorities pulled her over in the 300 block of East 23rd Street North at 4:42 a.m. Wednesday. She was cited and released to appear.
• Arturo A. Rico, 21, of Newton, is charged with driving while license suspended after authorities pulled him over in the 400 block of South Eighth Avenue West at 1:48 a.m. Thursday. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
• Randall C. Mikesell, 35, of Newton, is charged with fifth-degree theft after authorities were called to Kum & Go at 1 a.m. Thursday. Officers were called about items that had been taken from the store earlier. Officers found Mikesell at the store and after handcuffing him officers found sunglasses, a candy bar and a Kum & Go sweatshirt. The three items totaled $40.99. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
