Brian Dean Kramer

Brian Dean Kramer, 58, born May 21, 1956, in Hampton, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in Montezuma. The first son of Bernard and Martha Kramer, he was raised and educated in Marshalltown, graduating with the class of 1974. He spent most of his working career in Marshalltown, Newton and Grinnell, most recently with Jensen Heating and Air Conditioning in Grinnell.

He was united in marriage to Alan Szczepkowski April 14, 2015.

Brian is survived by his husband Alan Szczepkowski of Montezuma; sister Monica L. Kramer of Marshalltown; and nephew Lucas D. Kramer of Marshalltown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernie and Marti; brother Kent J. Kramer; and by paternal and maternal grandparents. A memorial gathering is planned for family from 2 to 4 p.m. May 30 at the Kramer Lake House on Lake Ponderosa in Montezuma.
