FOREST CITY — A Minnesota man faces up to 50 years in prison in Iowa when he’s sentenced in June for sexually abusing a child younger than 12. Jasen Maran Salin, 43, of Maynard, Minnesota, recently pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a child. Each count carries a maximum sentence of 25 years. Court records say the abuse took place between July and August 2012. Salin will be sentenced June 23 in Winnebago County District Court in Forest City.
