BROOKLYN — Lynnville-Sully’s golfers and others were able to get their nine-hole quadrangular meet in Monday before any rain came into the area of the Brooklyn-Victor Country Club.
The Hawks led by their senior players finished third with a 184 four-player score. BGM was first with 165 and Belle Plaine took second with a 168. HLV, the host team, placed fourth with a 197.
Baker Zegars posted a team-low 41 for Lynnville-Sully. Bayley Morvant posted a 46 and Ben Trettin carded a 47. Caleb Jensen and Kolten Fisk each had a 50 and Kyle Van Dyke finished with a 54.
Keaton Rhinehart of BGM was the medalist for the meet with a 38, winning on a scorecard playoff.
Lynnville-Sully travels to North English Tuesday for a triangular with BGM and host English Valleys at the Knoll Ridge Country Club.
“This will give us a chance to play the course before our conference meet on May 11,” said Bryan Dejong, Lynnville-Sully golf coach.
