• Celebrate Recovery women’s study will meet at 5 p.m. Monday at Hephzibah House, 721 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• A board and card game night will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Newton Public Library, 100 N. Third Ave. W. The public is invited to stop by to play. Board and card games will be available for patrons to use. Snacks will also be provided. Children must be accompanied by adults/guardians.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 223 E. Fourth St. N. in Newton.

• A Cellphones for Soldiers drive will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday at DMACC Newton Campus, 600 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton. Drop old cellphone off at the front desk of the Newton Campus until April 28. If you are unable to do so, call 641-791-3622 and someone will come and pick up the phone.

• Newton Golden K Kiwanis will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Newton Village for social time, coffee and a program by Newton Daily News Sports Editor Jocelyn Sheets. • One Month to Live women’s study will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hephzibah House in Newton.

• Toddler & Twos Story Time will meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Newton Public Library, 100 N. Third Ave. W. for ages 18-36 months with a caregiver; siblings are welcome. Story time lasts approximately 20 minutes and includes fingerplays, songs, stories and a very simple craft.

• Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Newton.

• Newton Rotary Club will meet at noon Tuesday at DMACC Newton Campus. Meeting will be in the upstairs banquet room. The program will be presented by Charles Becker on Camp Courageous.
