Shirley Ann Bogue Hoover Partin, 78, died March 23, 2015 in Hospice at Skiff Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18 at the Kellogg Homdahl Park Cabin with a luncheon afterwards. A private burial will be done by the immediate family at the Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.
She was married to Richard (Dick) Hoover (deceased), divorced, then later married Lynn Partin.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Dee Bogue and Mabel Sigman Bogue; sister Betty Bush; two brothers, Dee (Sonny) Bogue Jr., and James Bogue; a great-grandaughter, Kally Inez Bestell; and a step-son, Eldon Partin.
She is survived by her husband Lynn of Iowa Vets Home in Marshalltown; her daughters, Peggy Hoover Bestell (John) and Debra Hoover Stacey (Robert); step-daughter Deanna Bennett (Kenneth); three sisters, Irene McCumber of Newton, Judy Newby (Larry) of Goddard, Kan., and Delores Stalzer of Fair Oaks, Calif.; brother Jerry Bogue (Geri Lou) of Grinnell; grandchildren, Tammy Bestell, Robby Bestell, JR Bestell, Mike Hoover, Shannon Kotz and Jamie Stacey; step-grandchildren, Kenneth Bennet Jr., Matt Bennet, Adam Bennett and Daniel Bennet, several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is loved very much, and will be missed by all of us, but will remain in our hearts forever.
