Newton team takes second at state

Newton’s 10th-grade AAU volleyball team finished second in the Iowa State AAU tournament March 21 at Marshalltown. The team went 34-8 on the season, which included three first place finishes and three second-place finishes in AAU qualifying tournaments for both 10th grade and 11-12-grade level teams.
