Pauline Charlotte West Cannon

Pauline Charlotte West Cannon, 56, of Newton, died Monday, March 30, 2015, at her home. A celebration of Pauline’s life will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 4 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service or after the service with a lunch at the funeral home. Memorials in Pauline’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Pauline, the daughter of Ronald and Janet (Parrish) West, was born Sept. 8, 1958, in Portsmouth, Va. She was a certified nurses aide and a longtime Newton resident. Pauline had been a nurses aide at Heritage Manor, residential instructor at Progress Industries, record clerk at John Deere Credit and a laborer and administrative assistant at Maytag. For the last eight years she was an administrative assistant at RJO in Newton. Pauline was united in marriage with Milt Cannon Aug. 30, 2014, at their home. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening, being outdoors, her pets, and spending time with her family.

Pauline is survived by her husband, Milt Cannon; children, Patrece (Micah) Cope, Holly Revell (Matt Moser) and Joe Revell; step-children, Jill (Chad) Hollingsworth and Rob Cannon (Karla Lanser); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michaella, Alexa, Liberty and Thomas Cope, Konner Revell, Megan and Ashley Hollingsworth and Trenton Cannon; parents, Janet and Frank Harger; her siblings, Carmen Hackworth and Chris West; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald West; paternal grandparents, Wilda and Frank Harger; and maternal grandparents, Joe and Pauline Parrish.
