Now is the perfect time to get ready for summer and the Summer Reading Programs. Stop in to the library to clear any fines on your account, renew your account and make sure all your contact information is correct.
Seeking musicians, authors and crafters
The library is looking for Newton residents who have a musical talent, have published a book or can speak on writing a book, or who have a special skill in crafts to present programs for the Adult Summer Reading Program this summer. Renew books online
In the library catalog (www.newton.lib.ia.us, click on Catalog), go to: My Account and Review My Account. Log in by typing your library card # (no spaces) next to User ID: , then click on Display User Information. In your account, click on Checkouts and checkmark items you want to renew by clicking in the box to the left of each title. When done, click on Renew Selected Items.
